Okay, so I forgot to post a random video last week, but fear not – I have not forgotten this time!
I am posting this video for a number of reasons.
Firstly because it stars Edward Norton who, in my opinion, surpasses any other actor of our time.
Secondly because this part of the film ‘25th hour’ has a really deep meaning to it that we should all pay attention to and learn from. It is so easy to blame other people for the bad times in our lives, for the shortfalls, bad luck and misfortune we suffer from – but sometimes…sometimes we have to learn that really, we are the cause of our own misfortune. Having the ability to learn to blame yourself when you are to blame is hard to come by, but when you are able to hold your hands up and say ‘you know what? I’m to blame for this, I did wrong!’ – thats when things start to get better.
